LOVE BOCA OUTREACH MINISTRIES HAS BEEN ACTIVE IN THE COMMUNITY SINCE 2012, TIRELESSLY WORKING TO TRANSFORM THE LIVES OF THE HOMELESS POPULATION OF BOCA RATON.  HERE ARE SOME OF OUR GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENTS.  WE HAVE GOTTEN MANY PEOPLE "OFF THE STREETS" AND WILL NOT GIVE UP UNTIL WE DO!

  • 40-something woman, chronically homeless alcoholic.  After a year of outreach and encouragement, she finally embraced recovery and accepted a scholarship to The Cove Rehabilitation Center.  She is now over 70 days sober and has maintained employment.
  • Gentleman in his 60’s, homeless due to financial difficulties, unable to find steady employment; simply needed a steady job to get off the streets.  LBOM found a local business to give him a chance to get back on his feet.  He has been saving money while working and has been able to pay the necessary costs and fees to move into an apartment of his own.
  • Gentleman in his 40’s, had simply fallen on hard times, not able to find steady employment.  LBOM found someone to take him in and matched him up with a local business for a job.  He is not only working full-time, but is starting his own side business repairing computers.
  • A mentally-ill woman estranged from her family and living on the streets.  Through LBOM’s outreach and support, she achieved stability through proper medication, reunited and living with her family, is working full-time and even earned a raise in a matter of months.
  • A young, HIV+ pregnant woman, who was homeless and had not received proper medical care.  LBOM helped her get the medical care she needed, while LBOM and several community partners  (including the Boca Raton Police Department and Boca Helping Hands) arranged for her and her partner’s transportation to San Francisco where they had family ready to take them in.
